Nervous Horizon co-head TSVI follows up 2015 debut EP, ‘Set You Free’, with powerful new record, ‘Sacred Drums’ — a 12” that delves even deeper into the raw, no-frills potential emanating from the NH camp right now.

Already sought after for his fierce and complex club material, ‘Sacred Drums’ sees TSVI up his game even further across four heavyset new solo productions, as well as bringing in NH crew members, Luru and DJ JM, to collaborate on two digital exclusives.

Opener, ‘The Healer,’ is an immediate case in point, a dark, rasping drum workout that’ll function both in or away from the club, while EP tracks ‘Darabukka’, ‘Parade’ and ‘Assam’s Children’, although punctuated by deft sample touches and flashes of melody, deliver the sort of power-drum, club pressure that TSVI has made his firmly his own.

Complimented by two bonus tracks, particularly the lower-slung, funkier rhythm on ‘Aziza’ with DJ JM, ‘Sacred Drums’ is an exercise in energy and power — and an insight into the world of a producer and label intent on re-shaping the club.
