Club experimenters Ashida Park return after a stellar 2017, which saw the Viennese label release an impressive cannon of releases. For their first instalment of the year, they’re bringing out the debut EP from Handle the SoundKnightwerk affiliate ZEFGIRLCLUB.

The Sydney-based producer’s ‘Dystopia EP’ is an abrasive & emotionally charged collection of industrial club tracks that blurs the line between the euphoric and the sinister. Operating at the darker and more cinematic edge of dance music, she aims to create an experience that isn’t limited to hedonistic club environments.

In the middle of the release you’ll find ‘Annihilation’, a poltergeist of heart-wrenching samples and unrelenting kick drums. The mixture of airhorns and the sound of children crying lends the track a DJ-Mustard-whilst-on-a-bad-trip vibe that we can very much get behind.

You can download ZEFGIRLCLUB’s ‘Dystopia EP’ from the 27th March from all digital stores.
