We’ve never been short of praise for London via Adelaide producer Ezekiel Rhodes. The burgeoning talent has long been our radar since he dropped his statement making, introductory EP – ‘The Violator’ in 2014. Following a near five month hiatus since his last EP endeavour in Seventh Substance; the Tessier-Ashpool alumni is back, and with new offerings courtesy of Lucky Beard.
Flesh Trade consists of three tracks of Rhodes’ making – each one a testament to his trademark, bass-trembling sound, but it’s the remixes which accompany them that we’ve really got our eye on. Featuring two, spluttering yet nonetheless club-centered contributions from longstanding Insert favourites, Wallwork and Tsvi, the EP also shines the spotlight on the Lucky Beard collaborator and Radar Radio approved Natlek, who turns the original ‘Primitive Functions’ on its head completely.
Ezekiel Rhodes – Flesh Trade EP is set for release on December 11th
