Since being established in 2014, the Bristol based label Pear Drops has been steadily pushing out some of the best instrumental Grime releases we’ve heard. Their back catalogue features the likes of Polonis, Charisma, co-founder Daffy and now this brand new EP ‘Kowloon Bae’ by Boycott.

The EP has already gathered momentum through the support of Letta, Fallow & Ahadadream to name a few. Our picked off the EP is the remix from Akito, who is a producer coming from roots strongly established within the Club music scene. However Akito has often dabbled and edited various Grime tracks and this interest and combination flourishes on his LDN to LDR remix. It seems Akito is able to draw out a warm bounce on any track, no matter how hard and cold the drums are.

The EP is also packaged with the amazing artwork from Rachel Noble.

Boycott’s ‘Kowloon Bae’ EP is out digitally March 11th via Pear Drops.
