URL group Drift Kings return with their biggest compilation to date this month with the ‘Itasha Collection’. Inspired by the music of drift-racing anime series ‘Initial D’ and the forward-thinking weightless scene that has emerged in the last 5 years. Drift Kings are an international group putting out experimental but functional dance music, which heavily references trance and sounds from the anime series.

Our pick off the release is the Milan & London based producer Big Hands ‘Lancer Evolution VIII [i need your turbo]’. An industrial track, which sits on the compilation as a more weighted track with its use of sub lines and loud drum hits.

Drift Kings ‘Itasha Collection’ will be released digitally on 15th November. You can get a sense of the entire release from the trailer.
